giving birth to the hungry Leviathan
The merciless father takes off his mask
and we see his merciful face
in its entire searing horror

The golden fields are covered in blood, fire and plague
Beneath the ash a massgrave of seven billion opens
The harsh mother slays and devours her children
pregnant with a new creation
After the long winter the shadow of the smoke clouds clears
New trees are rising from the purified earth
with unknown birds on their branches, singing unfathomable songs
which no one is present to hear
