Näkijän sauva on katkennut, laho ja madonsyömä.
Metsät ja pellot palavat korvetavassa kuivuudessa.
Maljani läikkynyt yli, kaatunut ja haljennut.
Alati nousevat aallot pauhaavat ja myrskyävät.

Ajatusten miekka ruosteessa ja tylsentynyt.
Viheliäinen ja vimmainen tuuli raivoaa kaikkialla.
Pentaakkelin sakarat vinossa, astekulmat väärässä.
Levoton ja rauhaton maa järisee ja vavahtelee.

Palavien kaupunkien tulta älä kaihda.
Maailmanpalon liekeistä veistän uuden sauvan.
Kuohuavien vetten raivoa älä karta.
Tuhon tyrskyistä nostan uuden maljan täynnä sydäntä.

Tuimien viimojen vihaa älä kavahda.
Apokalypsin tuulista taon uuden miekan.
Sotaisan maan sokeaa liikehdintää älä säiky.
Maan kamaraan kaiverran viisikannan omaksi kuvakseni.

Nämä neljä tuon yhteen viidennellä:
tyhjyydellä, joka lävistää kaiken.
Maailma on tuhoutumassa, samoin on mieleni,
sillä mieli on maailmassa ja maailma mielessä.

CREATION / DESTRUCTION

The wand of the seer is broken, rotten and wormridden.
Forests and fields are burning in searing drought.
My cup has flown over, fallen and cracked.
Ever-rising waves are thrashing and storming.

The sword of thoughts is rusted and dull.
A wretched and frenzied wind rages everywhere.
The blades of the pentacle are crooked, its angles wrong.
The restless and disturbed earth quakes and heaves.

Do not avoid the fire of burning cities.
From the flames of the world’s funeral pyre I carve a new wand.
Do not avoid the rage of stirring waters.
From the breakers of destruction I raise a new cup full of heart.

Do not evade the hate of austere winds.
From the gales of the apocalypse I forge a new sword.
Do not fear the blind movements of the belligerent earth.
Upon the earth's ground I carve the pentagram in my own likeness.

These four I bring into one with the fifth:
the emptiness which penetrates all.
The world is about to destruct, and so is my mind,
for the mind is within the world and the world within the mind.

I create myself/the world anew by destroying the world/myself.
I create the world/myself anew by destroying myself/the world.
